Chargers 53-man schedule projection after the return of Keenan Allen

The chargers started the football season in an impressive way with a 34-6 eruption in the Hall of Fame game. Admittedly, several starters on both sides did not play in the game, but it was still an encouraging sign on the part of Jim Harbaugh.

After that context, it is time to update the schedule projection of 53 people with a few remarkable changes.

Quarterback (3)

Justin Herbert, Trey Lance, Taylor Heinicke

Nothing changes here, and it probably won’t. Lance’s exceptional performance in the opener gives him a legitimate shot to win the number 2 lane.

Run back (4)

Omarion Hampton, Najee Harris, Kimani Vidal, Hassan Haskins

Haskins was quite solid in the Hall of Fame game and we already know about his special teams. For now, Haskins and Vidal remain the last two backs until further notice.

Wide recipient (6)

Ladd Mcconkey, Keenan Allen, Quentin Johnston, Tre Harris, Keandre Lambert-Smith, Derius Davis

Jalen Reagor himself had the start of the training camp and Brenden Rice also made some Flash Games. Unfortunately for them, the signing of all on Tuesday damages their chances to make the schedule significantly harm.

Tight end (4)

Will Disly, Tyler Conklin, Oronde Gadsden II, Tucker Fisk

Fisk’s blocking fur deserve a place to him.

Attacking line (9)

Rashawn Slater, Joe Alt, Zion Johnson, Bradley Bozeman, Mekhi Becton, Trey Pipkins, Jamaree Salyer, Andre James, Branson Taylor

Harbaugh officially ended the Johnson experiment in the middle of the week in the middle. If there were an injury to Bozeman this season, they might consider using Johnson in the middle. Now it seems that the starting five takes place with Johnson at Left Guard and Bozeman in the middle.

Edge Rusher (5)

Khalil Mack, Tuli Tuipulotu, Bud Dupree, Caleb Murphy, Kyle Kennard

Murphy has earned rave reviews of the coaching staff and all signs indicate that he is making his way to the schedule of 53 men. He has been more impressive than Kennard, the pick with the fourth round. Kennard’s schedule opportunities are probably not in danger, but so far he has made his passtrush skills in the camp in the camp.

Defensive line (6)

Teair Tart, Da’shawn Hand, Naquan Jones, Jamaree Caldwell, Otito Ogbonnia, Justin Eboigbe

Another group without changes. Apart from the last place, this group usually feels in stone.

LineBacker (4)

Daiyan Henley, Junior Colson, Denzel Perryman, Troy Dye

Murphy’s addition to the schedule leads to this room that only wears four linebackers.

Cornerback (5)

Cam Hart, Tarheeb Still, Donte Jackson, Benjamin St-Juste, Nikko Reed

The first three names on this list are the starters and the regulars in this position in 2025, with an injury. The experience of ST-Juste makes him a likely lock to stay on the Roster in the coming week 1. However, the fifth place was recently stuck by Reed. The unguomed free agent from Oregon was impressive in the Hall of Fame game, something that passed from his activity into training camp practices.

Safety (4)

Derwin James, Alohi Gilman, Elia Molden, RJ Mickens

The eyes stay in last place and MICKENS had a number of special moments in that opening game.

Special teams (3)

Cameron Dicker (K), Josh Harris (LS), JK Scott (P)

No changes here.
